How SteriLyte Works

Our specialized, high energy UV-C system has been proven to kill virtually all bacteria, molds and viruses.

The UV-C light fixture is turned on at the end of the night or between shifts to conduct its run. The amount of time required to highly disinfect your surfaces depends on three factors: time, distance, and the energy of the UVC source. Most surfaces take approximately 30 minutes. Enhanced Disinfection Corporation will help you engineer your layout and determine the proper run time for the UVC system to be effective. All air and surfaces are virtually sterile when you start up again.

Points of Interest

  • Boeing engineers and designers have built a prototype lavatory that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to kill 99.99 percent of pathogens, thus sanitizing all the lavatory surfaces. Combined with touch less faucets, soap dispensers and more, the lavatory of the future could make for a more hygienic, less worrisome experience.
  • Although an intervention bundle can improve cleaning by environmental service workers, it remains suboptimal, with many objects and surfaces not cleaned. Furthermore, the ability to achieve high rates of cleaning long term has not been demonstrated…. “Are Room Decontamination Units Needed to Prevent Transmission of Environmental Pathogens?” William A.
